Participants in the “Women in Cyber” Mentorship Program have taken a significant step forward by coming together for a new training course: ISO 27032 Foundation – Cybersecurity, organized on October 28-29 at the Orange Moldova Training Center.
ISO/IEC 27032 is an international standard dedicated to “cybersecurity” or “security in cyberspace,” primarily aimed at the effective protection of information in a constantly changing digital environment. This standard focuses on three essential pillars: Data Protection, Information Integrity, and Information Accessibility. In addition to these key aspects, ISO 27032 also provides a holistic view of cybersecurity, integrating the security of information, networks, and critical infrastructure.
At the end of the event, the participants received certificates of recognition and appreciation for their commitment, dedication, and passion in excelling in the field of cybersecurity.
This means that the standard not only protects the data itself but also the networks through which it circulates, as well as the systems and technologies that process it. Implementing ISO/IEC 27032 allows organizations to create a safer digital environment, reducing the risks associated with cyber activities and strengthening stakeholders’ trust in their ability to manage digital threats.
This initiative contributes to creating a safer digital environment, reducing the risks associated with cyber activities, and strengthening stakeholders’ trust in organizations’ ability to manage digital threats.
We express our sincere thanks to expert Mihai Danțiș and partners from E-Governance Academy, EU Rapid Assistance, Octalogik, and Orange Moldova for their invaluable support.
Finally, we recognize and appreciate the contribution of all the ladies and young women in the “Women in Cyber” Mentorship Program for their participation and exemplary dedication.
